After just over a week of testimony, the jury has found sadistic psychopath Maxwell Anderson guilty on all 4 counts in the murder and dismemberment of Sade Robinson, and the disposal of her remains throughout the City of Milwaukee.
Verdict Read Aloud By Presiding Judge Laura Crivello 6/6/25:
The unanimous decision came swiftly on June 6 2025 after closing arguments were heard and they began deliberating on June 5th. With all the evidence available and shown to the jurors, the defense did not have much to go on, and the prosecution did an excellent job of streamlining the witness testimonies and connecting the dots with detailed yet concise presentations making it very straightforward for the jurors.
Prosecution Closing Argument with Ian Vance-Curzan 6/5/25:
It was a grueling 9 days for Sade’s family to sit through seeing all the gory details along with images of the torture Sade went through. But they held it together, walking out and taking breaks when it got too much for them, and returning with determination and resolve to see it through.
And we can say that justice has been served for Sade and her family, and we are happy that Maxwell will be getting some form of punishment being locked away with his freedom taken away.
But the only real justice for Sade’s mom Sheena Scarbrough would be for her daughter to be returned to her, unharmed – just the way she was.
Sade Robinson’s Mom Sheena Scarbrough Speaking After Verdict 6/6/25:
The sentencing hearing will be held on August 15, 2025, and we will then know the scope of punishment Maxwell Anderson has received.
19 year old Sade Robinson had gone on a date with 33 year old Maxwell Anderson on April 1st, 2024 where they had food and drinks at the Twisted Fisherman and moved on to Duke’s On Water, before ending their night at Maxwell’s house. And by the next day Sade was nowhere to be found until her vehicle was found burning on a back street, followed by her body parts showing up at parks and public spaces throughout Milwaukee.
