Sade Robinson was honored and celebrated by her family and friends at her memorial yesterday May 10th 2024, on what would have been her 20th birthday. Her mom Sheena Scarbrough remembered her as “an angelic spirit” and vowed that justice will be served for her.
With tear-filled eyes she uttered, “She was an angelic spirit. To lose a child, is something that was not a part of my plan.” And as emotions of loss and grief swept over her she cried, “this was not a part of my plan” as Sade’s dad stood by her side consoling her as he tried to remain strong for her.
Her sister Adrianna Reams overcome with grief and could hardly get her words out, uttered, “in the 16 years we had together, she was a lot more than that to me. We did everything together.”
People whose lives were touched by Sade spoke highly of her sharing their gratitude for having her being a part of their lives, while other community members chimed in to celebrate her, praising her as being “the biggest super power” with the ability to “just smile at you and change your whole day around.”
Sade was murdered and dismembered by Maxwell Anderson on the night of April 1st 2024, after going on first date with him to his former workplace – a restaurant called The Twisted Fisherman and then finishing off their date with drinks at a Sports Bar called Dukes On Water.
After the date, they both ended up at Maxwell’s house at 39th and Oklahoma in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but It is unclear if Sade went to Maxwell’s house voluntarily or if she was drugged and taken there. But by the next day when no one was able to reach Sade and started looking for her, it was not long before calls were coming in saying that a car was seen burning in an alley way at 30th and Lisbon, and a right leg with pink toenail was found in Warnimont Park, Cudahy. They were both confirmed to be Sade’s and other body parts have continued to turn up since then.
Authorities have since searched his home, finding a sex dungeon in his basement amongst other things, and they were able to secure surveillance footages as well as cell phone records which showed the areas Maxwell drove Sade’s car to in the early morning hours of April 2nd. And he has been arrested and charged with first degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson and is currently being held at the Milwaukee County Jail on 5 million dollars bond pending his trial.
Authorities have said they are not yet in possession of all of Sade’s body parts, and family and friends have vowed to continue searching.
